Does my vehicle need an MOT?
If your vehicle is over three years old, then yes, it does need an annual MOT test. Furthermore, the test must be carried out by a VOSA approved MOT test centre such as Hampton Motors. The MOT consists of checking important parts on your vehicle to make sure they meet the legal standards. In other words, it is an annual roadworthiness test.
Your may submit your vehicle for its MOT test up to one month before the expiry date.
How much does the MOT Cost?

What happens if my vehicle fails its MOT?
Depending on what the vehicles fails the MOT on, and your requirements, we can quote for the repairs or try and point you in the direction of a garage which may be able to help. We shall do our upmost to get your vehicle safe and roadworthy as quickly as possible. Providing your vehicle is repaired to the required standard within 10 days of the original MOT, we will not charge a retest fee. Out of this time span, the full fee will be chargeable, and a new full MOT carried out, as per VOSA guidelines.
